The Fork and The Road LLC was founded in 2007 as a culinary tour company. We traveled around Western Pennsylvania connecting inquisitive eaters with chefs, food artisans, and farmers, and introducing our new friends to the rich food history of the tri-state area. Since 2015, we have focused on developing culinary events for the local lodging industry.
We now specialize in culinary tourism consulting: helping tourism bureaus, local chamber of commerce groups, food-related businesses, and agricultural organizations develop and produce tours, dinners, festivals, food routes, and other food related tourism products. Our ultimate goals are to support local businesses, build connections, and enrich communities.
About me, Mary Miller, owner:
I’m a registered dietitian with a master’s degree in public health, and certifications in culinary nutrition and culinary tourism. Since childhood, I’ve loved road-trip adventures (especially those that involve food) and supporting my community. My biggest goal is to encourage understanding, connection, and compassion among consumers—that’s all of us—and the people who grow and make the food we enjoy every day.
